How You Can Start Swimming to Lose Weight Quickly
3 Fit Ways to Slim
Losing weight quickly—and keeping it off—is a challenge for many people.
.
Most people with try to reduce excess weight gain with through healthy diet regimes or by decreasing stress levels which might help prevent a big binge of whatever junk food is at hand!
Another way is the common advice to follow a high-intensity workout regimen to burn off a ton of calories. This sounds good in theory, but in real life it is very difficult for the average person to accomplish. You have probably tried this already, only to get derailed by nagging injuries to your feet, knees and shoulders.
.
Unless you’re very athletic, you can’t follow an athlete’s workout program and expect to go injury-free for months at a time.
.If you have the resources, you could buy your own personal swimming pool. Otherwise, you could join a local swimming club. Doing so can really be a game-changer!
.
This will allow you to exercise every day without pounding your body into a state of over-training.
.
Try incorporating these 3 swimming workout tips below into your weight loss routine for quick results.
.
1. Swim Laps Every Day
Start every day with a high-intensity swim workout.
.
Develop your freestyle swimming skills and aerobic capacity so that you can swim for 30–60 minutes without stopping to rest. This will take time, but the results are worth the effort.
A good way to do this is to start with 2-minute intervals. So you’d start your timer, swim across the pool and back and then rest until the timer reaches the 2-minute mark. Then you reset the timer and go again. Perform 10–15 of these 2-minute repeats every workout.
.
Eventually, you can extend these to three minutes each, while increasing the distance to four pool lengths instead of just two.
.
2. Perform Low-Impact Water Aerobics
A great way to end your day is by performing water aerobics in your pool.
.
You can perform these with paddles and water dumbbells to add extra resistance. You’ll be surprised at how intense a pool workout can be for your muscles and cardiovascular system with little to no negative impact on your joints and bones.
.
You can burn a ton of calories every day with a greatly reduced chance of injury, compared to other forms of intense exercise activities.
.
Remember, the key is to work out every day—that’s how the weight loss really stacks up.
.
3. Speed Recovery with Hot/Cold Therapy and Premium Supplementation
Beside your lap swimming and pool aerobic workouts, you should still be doing other types of workouts such as weight training and cardio exercise.
.
Those other activities should be limited, though, to avoid injuries and soreness to your muscles.
.
Take stem cell supplements to help reduce pain and soreness quickly. These supplements also reduce inflammation and help to heal and regenerate tissues which have succumbed to injury during your work out.
.
You can also use hot/cold therapy: Alternate 5-minute hot tub sessions with 5-minute swimming pool sessions back-to-back. This will improve your circulation and speed recovery between your other workouts.
.
Daily pool workouts can be a great way to boost your metabolism and burn off unwanted body fat with very little risk of injury.
.
Check with your local pool company to see what options would work out for your home and yard size. Then follow these workout tips above and watch the weight come off over the next few months.
