.A Combination of Western Practices And Eastern Philosophy
This Marriage Can be Very Healthy & Holistic!
When it comes to Western medicine, overall health tends to be divided or seen separately from a disease.
.
Eastern philosophy, however, indicates that when you are healthy, your body is in balance, and when you suffer from a disease, your body is unbalanced.
.
These differences also create differences in how you are treated. It’s possible to combine the two, though, to come up with a gentle approach to your health.
.
Here are 3 ways to achieve this:
.
1. Eat A Healthy, Moderation Diet

There are tons of diets available today that claim to help you lose weight, gain weight, have more energy, sleep better, eliminate cravings, and more.
.
Again, Eastern philosophy indicates that health is about balance in the body. And one of the best ways to achieve balance in the body is to eat a balanced, healthy diet. This should include real food, eaten in moderation.
.
Barring allergies, you shouldn’t cut anything completely out of your diet, but you should make sure to include as much unprocessed, whole food as possible.
.
2. Take a Yoga Class
Physical activity is another key to being healthy.
.
Heading to the gym to lift weights, run on the treadmill or swim laps is all well and good, but if you’re looking for balance, try yoga. There are several styles of yoga, from restorative and relaxing, to very challenging.
.
Not only will yoga give you the physical activity you’re looking for, but it also helps with stress relief, which is another part that needs to be balanced to be healthy.
.
3. Meditate Daily
Positive physical changes have been observed in the brains of people who meditate.
.
It’s a form of stress relief, while also being a great way to solve problems that are otherwise eluding you and gives you a break from your day.
.
Even if the idea of true meditation is a bit beyond your comfort zone at the moment, taking some time for deep breaths throughout the day can be enough to soothe the mind and put you more in touch with your body.
.
This can help you be more aware of how you’re feeling as well as changes in the body.
.
4. Use Natural Stem Cell & Premium Supplements Daily
A holistic therapist may advise you to use stem cell supplementation. Stem cells have the amazing ability to transform themselves into any cell in any organ or tissue in your body. They then renew and regenerate that body part or tissue.
.
The effects will be improved health, better REM sleep, increased energy levels, and overall well-being.
.
5. Find A Functional Medicine Doctor
Traditional medicine typically treats a single problem. You complain of a headache, the doctor gives you aspirin.
.
Functional medicine takes a more holistic approach and instead of simply giving you aspirin, looks for the root cause of your headache.
.
Functional medicine focuses on the optimal functioning of the body and organs, with a holistic or alternative approach. These doctors will still prescribe medication or indicate surgery if and when it’s necessary.
.
Western medicine has its place. Medication or surgery are sometimes necessary.
.
By combining Eastern philosophy and the idea that balancing the body will restore health, you ensure that you exhaust all options before resorting to medication or surgery.
.
This can make you feel better and more confident about your medical choices.
